Kitchen design
Crafting bespoke kitchens since 1991
Established in 1991 by Owen Wright, Joinery by Design is one of Christchurch’s leading joinery companies blending traditional skills with modern technology to produce high quality, made-to-measure kitchens, cabinetry, windows, doors, stairs and more.
Owen sadly died in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, however his legacy of passion, skilled craftsmanship and eye for detail lives on through his business partner and current company director Evan McLachlan. The reputation Owen created of customer satisfaction and a personal touch remain core company values - customers of Joinery by Design deal ‘one on one’ with the design team and benefit from a design, build and install service that is second to none.
